I don't like the most swords, which you can buy. The most of them are no hight quality and more a piece of milled steel, than a forged blade. So when i forge a blade, then i forge the whole blade by hand.
This will be an Oakeshott XIV special for the historical fencing and training sword and buckler techniques like the I.33 Towerfencingbook. Blade forged from 56Si7 springsteel.

I have no fix prices. And it depends what you wish, together with whole forged blade, and handpolishing, it would kost more than 1300 euro. If i do the most work by machines it start for a battleready swort by 600 euro. Haandpolishing and forging tooks a lot of time, for a blade like that the handpolishing needs between 4 and 6 days.
mine are about that size (though my metric to imperial conversion is a little rusty). how do you clean it up after forging? I have a steel scraper to knock it down then move on to stones, then emery cloth. but then I dont have a belt grinder.
I love air hammers, but dont have one in the shop. both of mine are mechanical, a 25# and a 50# little giant.
