louvelex's louve being the hapless victim of a pseudoexpirimental mixture of.. well.. mixing painter and opencanvas. sketched and flat colors and some shading in oC, and then linearted, and when i saw how poopy that looked i moved it on over to painter and did some one-layer up..gabbing.. blah blah.
painting on the compu is so much different now that i've been forcing myself to work in oils for the past two months. it's just not good enough! fast, sure, but there's a vibrancy missing, a mixing of colors that you can't get when you don't have a palette covered with half the spectrum of smooshed paints and liquin. also my hand doesn't cramp up nearly as much.

WOAH. well this came out of nowhere :]
its funny. i was only introduced to painter last week and i -HATE- it. so far my favorite has been adobe illustrator. can't get enough of that program <3
very cool experiment. hah, i do love that color scheme! i LOVE her face and the HAT [featherohgod] and her hmmmm expression. and while i don't like painting much either, i agree about the things you lose in computer coloring. for me i think its the texture.
but uh...you seem to handle yourself just fine with it. i LOVE that you're so bold with your mediums. you try everything and you do so well with it.
haha, thanks for allowing louve to be a part of one of your experiments! and for the record she is a big fan of champagne, capri suns, chocolate milk, and pink lemonade. i tried meade for the first time tonight. yummy stuff, but louve's a juice box lady.
