Since the start of my life I have come to find lonliness as much a friend as a teacher I admit
For within my social coordinations there are no subtletys, only acknowledments of failure I sit.
Contrary to popular belief I smile often and it is one of the things I tend to do most
Living through the ignorance and silent shame that others around me often come to host.
Perhaps they see something behind the genuine brightness that my eyes attempt to hold
For a certain sadness always follows behind them as I relinquish back into the empty cold.
I took responsibility for who I was and who I continue to be
Regardless of what others whom look, choose to see what they wish to see.
But the world was cruel because it chose to deny the comforts of acceptance that we all wish to know
and into a box I came to gather the resentment of all others, to form hatred from the pain I would sow.
You all look like mist to me for one from the other I know not your charm, generosity nor face
And you all come together as one, a formless shadow of which I look away from in this place.
A certain part of me derives pleasure from the timeless years I cradled the pains of a cold heart
Another screaming in frustration at all those who could never understand, making misery an art.
My mind blazes with contradictions for a child wishes for love while an old man awaits his eventual death
I'd have waited longer for the right people to fill these places, but I forgot how to hold my breath.
