Samuel quickly stripped himself of his wet nappy, digging in his closet with clumsy fingers. Once he had the new diaper in hand, he slowly set about taping it to his waist. It was difficult, since he was still coming out of his headspace, but he had to get to work by eight. There was no time for the slower approach at adjustment.
The childish tapes were set in place. Now for his shirt. Getting it buttoned was a hastle, but eventually he had it done.
For a moment, Sam stood in front of the mirror with only his adult shirt and infantile nappy on. He had been diapered for two years now, but right now, with his head churning in both his adult and toddler mind, this almost seemed completely natural to mix his clothes like this. He felt safe in both worlds, knowing that he was well protected by his diaper but also safe from discovery.
Samuel glanced at the clock behind him, seeing the hands at 7:36.
"Shit!" He yelped, grabbing his slacks and tugging them up as he hurried down the stairs.
