Starcatcher Feature Loki -redone-
Well, due to some strange reason, I cannot exhange the image of the original picture. =_=; I added some highlights and thought it would do the whole thing some good. But actually I didn't want to make a new submission. But - I had to! Because for an unknown reason the image on the old one would not be accepted.
So, my apologies for anyone, who already new this one. ^_^;
I think I enhahnced the scan, too.
So here is the first part of the Starcatcher series. Featuring my character Loki.
As you might have noticed in the second part of the feature, which I had to upload before the first die to some circumstances ^^; - this series is only slightly related to Halloween. I love Samhain as the most wonderful vacation of the year. So I wanted to reward and gift a few of my freinds and people, that have encouraged me or helped me with my art through this series.
The first picture features my own character, Loki. and he, too, helped me a lot. I created him so many years ago and he developed as my I developed my style. My life goes on and I am constantly creating art, sometimes slow, sometimes quick. I managed to get better and climb up that ladder of improvement and I am proud of it. It means a lot of me to draw, even if I am not that talented as some other artists around. I put a lot of effort and blood and heart in my art pieces and the most wonderful thing is - to make people happy with my art. To see how they apreciate my ideas and my drawings - that is the most wonderful gif to me.
The series is called Starcatcher Seires because drawing is a process, similar to fishing - fishing for stars, so high above, so far away and yet, they seem to appeal to us, seem to cry out for us make us dream and make us wanting thing, make us try and try and try - so we can delevop and do something good.
Loki has catched a star, but the star doesn't seem to feel comfortable. That's like my feelings considering my art. I am always afraid to butcher characters and to... well to fail in my quest for improvement and development.
I could never stop drawing, I think. Not without feeling sad and become depressive. But nevertheless I need the confident to go on and there are people out there, who encourage me and I thank them a thousend fold.
I give this picture to all of you out there.
Thank you for commenting, encouraging and apreciating my art.
Have a happy Haloween and a wonderful year. *bows*
I wouldn't be were I am without your support.
