Given that the story with her first appearance was rendered totally unwriteable at the time by the creation of Kaze and Jura, there wasn't much point in doing anything more with her back then.

like most of the K-girl creations worried overmuch about canonicity of how they work. the number of irrational mothra alone.....wouldn't a ridiculous entrance be in flavor for something derived from nagai anyways? the description of texas mack says he keeps his trump card in a giant coffin under the white house!

No, I mean the story that was going to introduce Mackenzie, "Z" (one of two planned sequels to "Omega"), was originally intended to be the origin of MY Mazinkaiser girl, but since I spent the rest of that year aftre writing "Omega" figuratively (and literally a couple of times) with a razor against my wrist, I passed what I had of her onto Cole and he made Kaze, which kinda defeated the purpose of me writing it in the first place.

I tried again last year (or was it earlier this year?) to rework the story around Kaze, even planning a big fight between her and Diza-Dorake (since Go Nagai has expressly stated that a fight between Mazinkaiser and Grendizer will never be written since he can't choose between them who'd win) and changing it so it would introduce a girl based on Mazinkaiser-SKL instead, but by then Cole had already paired Kaze up with Jura, the most ridiculously overpowered K-Girl on the roster, and between the two of them there was no point to even writing the story since the villains wouldn't last more than a paragraph at most (and then Cole made a Mazinkaiser-SKL girl of his own a month or two later anyway).

Now that the Daikaiju High setting is functionally dead ANYWAY, I feasibly COULD do "Z" as I intended, but A} Cole might take that as a slap in the face (although I AM a little miffed that he made "Skully" knowing I'd already been working on my own SKL girl at the time), and B} I have no real interest in doing more in the setting anyway...which is why THIS Mackenzie is Jpalo's personal "Not-K-Girl" take on my black-and-white design (the actual "Texas Mack" Mackenzie is a redhead and dresses primarily in red, white, and blue and has markings around her eyes), in the same continuity as his take on Zoe.
