One little pumpkin creeping by a gate,
The first victim said, " Oh my, it's getting late."
the second one trembled, "Something wicked in the air."
The third one screeched, "I can see a ghastly stare!"
The fourth one screamed, "Let's run, and run, and run!"
The fifth one was gone, a trace there was none.

Then whoosh went the wind

and out went the light

and the one little pumpkin

feasted well tonight
