When I was back in high school, I lived near a small, city lake. In the summer, i would get up before the sun rose and hike out there to take pictures of the sunrise. But sometimes, I'd leave the camera back home, take the art out of the picture. Then I'd just go to hear the splash of the waves and breathe in the smell of the air.

This picture is old, done fore me back when I was 16, 17 years old. Done by my very good friend  miss.anthro I am still so blown away by the job she did, she even referenced the environment from one of my photos of the lake itself. And she captured the younger me so perfectly. Back when I was figuring myself out.

I miss that lake.
