This commission is one I've been thinking of for a while, although as it stands now, it is a far cry from the initial idea I had a few months back.

Whiskers is, I would say probably the closest friend I've had in my life. I have numerous other very very close friends, but with Whiskers.....well just ask some of the people we know who seem to be convinced we're dating, we're not.....we're actually married, joking, joking!

But yeah, the initial idea I had was for Sparx ro be standing in front of the cat, fending off some enemy off image. This has grounding in one of the first times I actually spent with Whiskers, stuff was hitting the fan and I basically stepped in, took a lot of hits and sheltered him from the fallout to make sure he was ok. However the more I thought about it, the more I thought that this wasn't really accurate, yes when we first knew each other I saw myself more as a protector and don't get me wrong if anyone ever hurts him I will come after them, but now he has matured so much and is starting to making such great progress with his life that I think it's more apt that we are standing side-by-side. We have great plans for the next year or two and knowing I have this feline by my side makes me, in a very odd way smile......yes I am capable of smiling when I want to!

So yeah, I guess what I was trying to say with this is, Whiskers, I'm so glad I got you as a friend and even though we may not always be close by to each other, I will always be by your side, ready to fight for whatever you need me for..........please I just love being a massive prick to people who deserve >:3
