Over the course of my recovery, I have managed to write a number of new adventures for Lucky and his friends. This submission will be my first ever attempt at posting using screen reader technology as the primary medium for sharing a work. Hopefully, it all works out okay. If so, do give the folks who manage FA a big round of applause. Sure they do some ridiculous things sometimes, but having this site accessible for those of us with low-vision / no vision is super, ultra, mega helpful.
You'll notice that this story is written a bit different than past works. I made a special effort to try and use only words in which me and Nishi's target audience can understand for their reading level. You'll also notice spacing between sections in which would imply, if illustrated, breaks between pages.
This tale is actually a rewrite of one I did way back in 2000 or 2001. It is a sort of coming of age story starring Scuttle and occasional character, Bubble Joyous. Scuttle is our story's typical all-star for he is the oldest. However, Bubble is older and smarter than he is and, well, she becomes his playful rival as following tales come into play.
I hope you enjoy this tale that was completely written without sight. You'll likely notice some typos and a few tab errors, but I am pretty proud of how I did this entirely blind. Just goes to show where there is a will, there truly is a way. :)

Thank you, Pawsie. *Hugs* It is so nice that programs exist to help those of us with visual issues to still pursue our passions. I remember being so depressed while being unable to see a thing until I sat myself down and said, "I need to write" and this became one of 5 wonderful tales. Each of which raised my spirits as I wrote as I reminded myself, yet again, I am more than my condition.
<LoL!> My screen reader made everything sound right when I had it read my work back to me, but my wife, who read these to my son while I was away, noticed the spelling whoopsies. I will edit these before I upload them to DeviantArt where I am hosting a Haposaur themed site to try and help me and Nishi's idea get out more. Should you read the next story, please foregive again the spelling and tab errors as, over time, I think I improved on catching them. Though, I know there are a number my application missed in its readbacks. :)
If you'd be interested in knowing more about the Haposaurs, I invite you to visit our official fan site. It's full of fun pictures not posted here or anywhere else. You can find it at...

The site is public, so you shouldn't need an account to access it. If you do need access, I will have to write the evil folks at FaceBook as there site is an accessibility nightmare and it pains me to have to have to use them as a fan site. Though, you got to go where you can get the best reach, right?
Have yourself a most Yoshi of a day! Can't wait to catch up on your work soon. :)

*Hugs* Thank you so kindly for visiting and liking Hapo Tales. It means a lot as Nishi and I have put a lot of work into it. Once I can see well enough to operate FaceBook, I plan on posting even moe stories to it, mostly these ones without the errors, to the support site "Hapo Works". Though, when Nishi and I have time, we'll be adding new content in relation to our next, shared project.
If you have any suggestions for it, please let me know. Again, I super-duper appreciate your time in checking out our work and hope each tale that is shared always proves worth your time. :)
Be well, Pawsie. Here's to good times ahead!

I'm glad you liked the story. Look for another today as I am posting all 5 that I wrote over the course of my healing.
Pockey-Pants are basically diaper-like shorts that serve a number of purposes. They help show a reader, or viewer, how old the little Haposaur is depending on whether-or-not they have a tail hole in the back. (Baby Haposaurs don't have tails. They grow at after they a bit above being a yearling). They also have fun pockets in the front for carrying toys and other fun stuff around.
I kind of got the idea from watching Dragon Tales in how the dragons had those awesome pouches / hoards in their tummies. Haposaur pockey-pants are far from bottomless, though. Their just cute and help let folks know how old the Hapo is. :)
If your interested in knowing more, and have time, I encourage you to visit the official fan site Nishi and I can created.

They're not crinkly, but they are typically hand-made by the little Hapos parents with soft cloth. So, there is a lot of special love that goes into a little hapos pockey-pants.
Hapo parents are quite involved and love to ensure their children are ever happy and comfortable. :) I am glad you approve of the idea.

They are super comfy and I have no doubt some adults, or adolecent Hapos, secretly like to sneak a snug pair on.
In the overall story arc the Hapos are a part of, they actually start wearing clothes approximately 100 years after this series completes. Wouldn't surprise me if some, while on business trips, sneak a pair under their formal attire.
<LoL!> It's fun to go beyond the boundaries of a story and think of all those who may be like those of us in the human world here. Gives the thrill of a writing a story more umph as you grant more life and realism to what would normally be seen as just a limited, fantasy world. And te world of the Haposaurs is definitely one I want to go beyond its story limits in the eyes, and minds, of our readers. :)

Oopa-Gaboo! *Huggles* I'm so glad you enjoyed the story and that it could help add to your geological adventures. A story, or work of music and art, are always best when they can assist in setting the right mood for good times.
It is also great to be coming back. I tested my eye a bit more yesterday on some bright, toony birdies Zee-Zee linked me to and I can now safely say, with my special glasses, I am about 90% back to where I want to and need to be. This makes me so happy as I know I'll be good to enjoy your forthcoming works despite how super-duper scared I was I'd never see them again when I was a total blind back at the beginning of August.
*Huggles* I hope you enjoy "A Day at the Dentist". Of the lot, it is the one I hope to make into a new children's book with Nishi at some point as I feel it'd work awesome in a dentist office. It also had a lot of fun nuances that related to my son, which also makes it extra special.
Here's to a super happy day! I look forward to catching up with you soon!
