Very much so! I'd love to have to look UP at my date for a change, and to be her teddy bear when snuggling. SAdly, I don't know any really tall women that would be interested in a shorter guy.

Very tall woman are hard enough to find as it is! and it'S well known that most women want a taller man, anyway.

I've found from the women I've known, it's more than a social standard. I'm a 6'5'' strong guy, I've been told quite a few times they've liked me being big because the felt safer. Now, is that the fact behind it trend? Probably not, I have no idea... I always assumed it had something to do with the gene pool, since animals in the wild look for the biggest and baddest male to earn the right passing on their genetic material. You know, to preserve a strong gene pool in the specie. I always figured humans had to evolve the same way, so maybe it was a side effect of our more primal mating habits.

Maybe, and maybe not.

I feel society associates size and height with personality, wealth, strength, and status.

Nothing's a guarantee for anything. I'm only stating what I've seen from experience. Then again, I don't associate with society's ideas and standards. Always been in a world of my own, so I often miss the obvious that everyone else is used to. Yay for being crazy and stupid! Woohoo!
