Sketch & Toon Spaceship 2

Here is the comparison piece (different ship though): this time with Sketch & Toon settings that imitate an actual sketch. Lines are multiplied, overshoot the object, simulate a blue pencil drawing with an overlay of black pencil.
It's still a full rendering though; you can see that in places where a curvature hasn't been sufficiently subdivided, creating angles in the lines that a human artist wouldn't have added.
For stills, it looks nice enough. In animation, the sketch concept is somehow flawed. If you go down to ten or less images per second and randomize the lines enough, you can achieve the look of a very imperfect hand drawn animation. But due to the overshoot and the randomness, the image will still flicker a lot. If you take out the randomization, you will still notice that lines jump in and out of existance when the "parent line" gets covered by another object in this perspective. It's an interesting effect, but in general I can't recommend sketchy styles for animation, it's very hard on the eyes.
We now switch back to your regular scheduled fur...
