A bit of work I have been plugging away at for quite some and it is just time to let it go. Please don't kill me for crappy BG!

O.O Wow! Just...awesome! Now it is my turn to say your art is progressing fast! I really, really like the coloring you did for all the characters. It's so smooth, so pristine, and the shading is very well placed! OwO You did very well and I absolutely love this! I also love that you added the Naralus in the background! Very choice and nicely done! Love it, love it, love it!
Very great job on the characters too. I like the relaxed look Akuna has on her face and the childish smile Brunka is presenting. Rupland looking off into the oncoming storm is very ominous. The storm is indeed coming, but will they be really? O.O

You are welcome. This was fun to do, even though it ended up taking much longer than I thought it would. I was indeed trying to get a very smooth look to the shading. It is good to hear that it worked as planned. And yes, I was thinking of Naralus when I did the city in the background! Gives you a visualization of what is in my head at least after reading the story, yes?
Probably about 80% of the total time spent on this went into the characters. They were most definitely the focus. Akuna and Rupland wanted to be difficult, requiring multiple sketches before finding one I liked, but Brunka just popped right out when I put pencil on paper. She is such a good and obedient child! LOL!
My primary reason for being on FA is to share creativity with kindred creative spirits and grow as an artist. You openly share your creativity, so you certainly deserve some in return! Keep the smileys flowing, fellow anvil snout!
