SNERGS.
So I was just going to draw baby Snaargs, and this happened. It turned out to be more like messing around with horns.
Top right:
That's right. Four Eyes before he lost one of his eyes was a father. That's actually how he lost his eye. He was fighting off a rival male trying to kill his son and mate with his female. It's a snaarg eat snaarg world on Reo-Rax. Four Eyes is a bit of a grump to begin with, but he's a softie for his cubs. Snaarg fathers will stay around to help raise the cubs, unlike most male animals on Earth.
Bottom right:
First female horned snaarg I've drawn. She's a beauty. She must have some years on her judging by the size of those horns.
Top Left:
Just playing around with curly horns. My second female.
Bottom Left:
A horned snaarg cub. Cubs are pretty much defenseless against threats and depend on their parents to defend them until either their poison barb fully forms or their horns get big enough. They fluff up their fur to make them look bigger than they are and they will rattle their barbs to warn you to stay back and alert their parents. If that's not enough, they'll try their best roar, which usually comes out squeaky.
Damn I miss my scanner. Sorry for the crappy photo, tis dark outside and my lighting sucks.
