When starting drawing back up, it was suggested that I'm "picking up where I last left off". That was in regards to quality and methods of how I draw, however, when browsing through one of my old sketch books for motivation, I came across some old unfinished inked sketches.
What I started doing when I stopped drawing, was I started pairing off my original characters, drawing them together interacting.
In this one, I drew my anthro gray fox and anthro black fox characters as a couple.
I have a series of 4 other sub-species of foxes pairing off, so it looks like I'll be having fun with that!
Didn't expect that I'd end up taking the "literal" term of "picking up where I last left off".
This was first drawn as a pencil sketch, then inked in dynamic shading (something I won't be doing anymore, because I realize dynamic shading can be done while coloring with colored pencils), then finished off in several layers built up of watercolor paper, then blended with dampened Q-tips.
Highlights are milk gen pen.
