Introducing our Xal.
I'm rather picky about pronunciation, so just to make it clear, The 'x' should be prounced almost like a zed, or a 'ts' (if you've got a really good ear for language). The 'al' should be fairly self explanatory. One ell, so it's a short 'ah' sound. As in 'you can call me Al...'

Wow... just wow. The detail you've been putting into these pages is incredible, and the train station blew my mind. I love the unique take you have on this civilization's architecture. At first I thought it was an ancient world, but now I realize the technology is similar to ours, at least the parts I've seen.
I also think that using traditional methods to draw and color this is well worth it. It has a personal feel to it... it's that much closer to what you're seeing in your mind. And it reminds me, oddly enough, of reading Calvin and Hobbes and looking at the beautiful hand drawn and colored artwork.
I look forward to seeing more of Totems, and I am very happy that you wanted to share this with us on FA.
