That is, I like the colour scheme you made, as well as the way the colour and some of the details (the dorsal frill/fin and the fin ears and elbow fins) makes her very integrated. By integrated, I mean how you have the fish-like elements rather present on her upper body. A 'non-integrated' mermaid would be one where the division between human torso upper half and fish-tail lower half is absolute and no aquatic elements make it above that border. Those sorts can be well done as well, and have their own appeal, but I find more integrated mermaids to be more.. appealing.

Still, this is all without making them into an anthro fish: what keeps that from happening is leaving the face almost totally human, which you did here.
