We sent 'Snoopy' here (Aldywuff) up on the doghouse to complete the tape junctions to the Yurts. Painting the shingles was a hoot and gave way better a texture than we imagined.
A spandex iris at the front keeps dust out of the little pressurized coat room. We even got to toss this thing onto the Man's embers to burn it before exodus (was all wood) The yurts were saved again for later use.

It is whatever you wish it to be. Literally. It's a big communal event, where you barter and trade for things (no money, the only thing you 'buy' is ice, and coffee from center camp)
I really like the week (sun-thurs), where it's a lot of building up your camp, and chatting with neighbors and strangers. Lots of artwork to see as things continue to grow and get put together. At night, it's mental. Art cars, fire, costumes, crazyness. It can also be a very spiritual place, depending on your points of view. It's also FUCKING HOT AND DUSTY. But that's the fun of it :)
The final few days are the 'party' nights, where they just crank everything to 11. The scene becomes more of a huge outdoor party at that point as things begin to burn down. A lot of the college crowd will show up for the Friday-Sunday events, big concerts, watching the man burn and so on.
