Your style is officially hitting a peak for me, Turbine. It can be hit-or-miss because it makes a lot of your artwork look sketchy when it could have looked better otherwise, but your more recent pieces have been doing some amazing things with shading anyway, and this concept of (what I assume is) a cyberworld with abstract shapes and obscure 'villains' is the perfect setting for that slightly sketchy aura.

You've officially gone from an artist on my watchlist for one or two pieces to an artist that's making me enjoy all of their artwork. Excellent job, in summation.

it's sketchy for a reason, and that's because I'm sort of broken and don't play by the same rules as most people who post art here. ^_^ I am very process oriented, to the point where it probably turns a lot of people off, I am more into learning and seeing and experimenting than finishing things, hence my stuff often looks crazy and unfinished *_*

And thanks so much ^_^;; it's a weird journey for me, I'm trying to figure out the kind of work (at least on the visual side of things) I *really* want to be doing, and I feel like this is getting closer to that, the suggestions of stories and places and ghosts and things, more like music, which is my first love.

IMHO what is jumping up in improvement is not the 'sketchy' or 'painterly' aesthetic per se but the composition of your images. Which I always find infinitely more interesting than how a thing is 'drawn'. Atmosphere is so much.

yes ^^ definitely more excited about composition now that I have a better idea of where to go with it (which is less "comic" and more "children's book from computer hell" ^_^
