Before uploading the next page tomorrow, I'd like to introduce a couple of characters.

Behold the 24:th decuria, Amberfist!

Here's Varnik. He's a puma in his 25:th year. He's a ruthless soldier and one of Haze's close friends in the army. When he's not irritated and bored, he's often lightening up the life in the decuria by beeing the one pulling most of the jokes, playing dice or challenging someone for a wrestle.
He thinks himself the most handsome in the whole decuria (squad of 6 to 10 soldiers) and doesent lack in self confidence.
He's utterly deadly in close combat, fast and sometimes gastly agile. His favorite combat technique is with the Naronian scrammasax, the sturdy secundary heavy knife that every footsoldier has hanging in front of the belt. But he's also, just as any soldier in the vast army, very effective in tight shield formations with spear or sword.
