Character Description
Encryption is a hacker cat with an odd sense of humor, generally serious and dignified demeanor and a horrible taste in food. Really. He lives off of crackers, cheese, and the occasional apple here or there. He's a skilled hacker though and now has an apprentice to his "trade" as well.

Personality
The cat has a habit of looking unamused by most everything that is stated. Many find him difficult to read for this matter. He isn’t particularly outgoing towards others, but under most circumstances he is neither rude.

He values a quiet environment where one can think and focus however is also not utterly stuck on his way being the only correct way to manage one’s life. He will usually try and see or at least respect another’s views on simple things like that.

Despite his incredibly serious-appearing demeanor, he does have a sense of humor, even if he shows it in the oddest of ways. Most of his friendly 'jokes' are stated with a completely matter of fact tone and indifferent stare. His speech mannerism is also considered unusual by many.

He tends to be a sophisticated individual.

Likes/Dislikes
Supposedly enjoys eating crackers topped with various cheese spreads. He prefers to spend his time working with computers than dealing with actual living individuals.

Encryption isn't fond of big crowds and would much more prefer one on one interactions.

Background/History
Encryption has an official reputation of being a simple computer repairmen. Just a general trouble solution. He makes it a habit not to perform any amazing works of restoration for the very purpose of keeping low on any sort of radar.

In reality, Encryption is a hacker, or when following a more legal career, also dabbles in programming off and on.

Encryption has been hacking from the time he was a young kit. Over the years, his methods have improved to great degrees.

It is often a mystery as to the purpose of his work. He doesn't share it with anyone beyond his apprentice after all, and even with her, he tends to be vague about the ultimate goals.

He does work for a few individuals on a regular basis--he has thusfar kept his apprentice away from them simply for her own safety. Encryption is pretty skilled at talking his way out of otherwise bad situations.

He prefers to go by the name Encryption as opposed to his birthname, Splice. He uses his name, Splice when dealing with strangers, but those who know him better refer to the cat by his preferred name.

He has a whole list of aliases he’s used off and on though and tends to answer by many names without much of a second thought to it.

His ear was injured when he was younger. It was actually a pretty uneventful incident due to clumsiness, however if anyone ever asks him about it, he usually tells some other story--a story that changes every time he retells it.

Home
The cat lives in his home with his apprentice. Most would consider the house sort of an 'organized mess.' Electronics are stashed in pretty much every room, stacked anywhere one could imagine, however he always keeps them in the same places and can easily find whatever it is he wants.

Appearance
Primarily white cat with gray tail tip, ears, and right portion of face. Small gray splotch just above nose as well. Has black patterns under his right eye. Eyes are both a light blue. Nose is pink. Blonde hair. His feet and hands are likewise dipped with gray. His left ear is permanently bent down.

Clothing
Encryption wears different things at different times. He usually has an overcoat though, generally neutral toned pants and shirt and so on. The only thing he always wears is his arm-length glove. It works together along with his visor. He usually has a duffel bag over one shoulder as well.

Accessories
Duffel bag that he keeps his equipment in. A whole arsenal of computers and various electronic odds and ends.
