I couldn't stand not drawing my feral tiny crow self, especially during a lecture.
I know! I know bird feet don't twist this way, but art isn't about "how not", it's about "how" and "why not" xD

Well, I took ornithology in college, and if this is a "fantasy" drawing, it isn't much of one. I've seen birds do some rather amazing feats of dexterity with their feet, and while crows are not parrots, they still have pretty flexible feet.

I'll happily forgive the 'foot tipped to the side' pose.

Yes. Birds routinely can scratch right over their wings, and I've seen parrots swivel their feet some by swiveling their hips, to get the best angle in handling things. The ankle joint can't move side-to-side much, but that doesn't hamper the birds!
