So, after remaining resolute and stark for over a year, a chain of events led me to watch more than an episode of MLP: FIM.
Funny story; I sat and watched all of seasons 1 and 2 in a day and a half, since I've had nothing better to do with my time lately. It wasn't until I woke up the next day to try and find season 3 that I realized there was no Season 3 yet. And then I was a little let down, I won't lie.
...And then, I realized what the hell just happened. And then I wanted to remove my own eyes with a belt sander.
And then I got over it.
Later, I was re-working the old White Lightning pony design into a full-fledged and separate OC. And then I realized what the hell just happened yet again.
After I finished slamming my hand in the refrigerator repeatedly, I got back to work. And now that my friends won't let me hear the end of it, I've resolved to do the only thing I can do. So... here's the first fully finished piece of White Lightning since the very first.

You'll note several changes here. Primary among them, He is no longer an Earth Pony, but rather a Pegasus. Next you'll notice that he's no longer wearing his mask - no longer a super hero knock off like before.
White Lightning is a shaggy-maned, green eyed stallion raised and schooled in Cloudsdale. He always aspired to be a speedster, or an aviator like the Wonderbolts.
He has a passion for his work, as well as natural aptitude, he's in charge of storm clouds, specifically from creation to setting up storms themselves.
There have been secrets, whispers and rumors floating around of him moonlighting as a hero for those in need. Nothing has been proven as of yet.
He has a wing-speed of 12.6 and can travel at subsonic speeds, which induces a lightning trail. With practice, it may be possible for him to break the sound barrier.
He's good at what he does and he knows it. He can be cocky and brash about it too. He can be very focused on his work, and rarely tarries when he's on the job.
Any other time, he can be found having fun, relaxing or just being lazy in general.

Thats it for right now though, I'm having trouble concentrating enough to write anything smart sounding.
As of now, I'm still working on the design. The pony style is simple, the stallion body style is a little different.
