Was pretty fun to do, I drew parts of this on paper first which is something I usually don't do. It's something I need to practice more, the digital age spoils us. Ironic considering the subject matter I think.

Fun fact: A proper historical shield was worn on the hand, not so much on the arm. It was often used actively to block or even punch the opponent. Except for Roman legion shield types, which were made to form a solid wall and were worn on the arm so as to brace the body against it and butt up against the neighboring shield.
Although I like the hokey stick. That's a fun one. And the fact that the shield is a street sign. That's actually pretty awesome.

that is really cool this pic is awesome *smiles* never knew there was a yellowhead in manitoba i know we have a street called the yellowhead here in edmonton alberta *laughs and shrugs* oh well :) still very nice,
