Well...I thought I was done. I was going to just do this pic as a character sketch, but now I'm wondering if it doesn't need a background. What do you guys think?
As to the character, originally she was going to be a tabby or a marmalade kitty, but then the idea of a Siamese ticked me. She already has her own mask. I had an immense amount of fun doing all the little details on the jewelery. I guess I was just in mood when that sort of complexity made me happy.

i have to agree with the other 99 percent of your fanbase, a background would be a bit distracting. If you want to put one in, however, i'd suggest a subtle body of water with a setting sun, maybe some seaguls... or anything else non-complicated that would be subtle enough to be almost unnoticeable...
