The unveiling of my newest product, now the official product is not going to look like this, this is just the prototype, the final product is going to have a silk inline with a bag made out of yarn as well as the yarn fur. I will update this foto once I get the official product finished.
How much would you pay for one of these?
An Ipod fit's comfortably inside along with any money that you might want to carry with you inside this little clutch. It carries the essentials for the furry on the go.

I already know how much the materials cost, I did that math, and from 30-50 dollars would be the price counting the labor, materials and shipping. Yes this is a small one but I am also going to be selling a full sized one which will be the size of a normal yarn tail but with the ability to put stuff inside of it.
Actually I am working on a "Tail Pouch" Prototype. I crochet the pouch add the zipper then sew on the fur. If you want to make it quick and easy. All you have to do is make a tail out of Fo-fur the size that you want, and instead of filling it up with cotton, make a pouch and on the seam that you are going to sew it shut on, add the zipper (make sure to cover up the zipper with some cloth so that the teeth don't get caught in the fur) then fill in the surrounding area with cotton so that it's like a plushy purse that you can by anywhere. Then you sew it all shut. Add how you want to attach it. And that's all. :)

Oh man I typed up this big long response and it all got deleted cause my internet went out right when I hit "send" >___<
Anyway though, I make my tails out of yarn and what I was thinking of doing was making a full length tail, but only having part of it used as a pouch like thing. I DO know how to crochet, but I don't entirely know how flexible a full length tail would be if it was crocheted. So then I was thinking of making the pouch part out of fabric (not furred, just regular fabric) but that doesn't sound very durable.
My bases are braids, so I wonder if there's any way to combine your idea with those bases???
This seems like it would be a supah cool thing, if we could figure it out

I HATE when that happens.
Well I have been trying to find ways but it's very hard. a pouch is just not something that we can make flexible unless we make it a very thin pouch. or out of very soft fabric and we add a weight to the bottom that will provide it with motion.

well, I'm currently in the process of attempting a super thick tail. So I was thinking something along the same lines you were, like maybe opening up the braid at the top and putting the fabric-y stuff in there, and the somehow securing the yarn over the fabric. Maybe glue or just plain sewing them together.
