Another painted cicada. Yes this is a real cicada, and no I did not kill it. It was found dead, and painted later.

These are so cool so are these the shedings or the full cicada? cause i know they shed but i t=saw this and went and looked at your others they ar every beautiful

They are the full cicadas. I collected the recently dead ones around my house, and dried them over a few days before painting them.
