Not anymore. The Religious Cult of Brony has actually become a big presence online. People are autobanning bronies on sight on a good number of TF2 Servers I frequent. The Religious Propaganda they put up have started to seriously get on people's nerves. Their religious message keeps getting shoved down people's throats every chance they get... Furries never did that. Therianthropes use to harp on furries for being a "souless" group and spiritually "lacking" but we never were that much of an issue like the Bronies have become.

..There is really a brony cult? JFC. I like MLP and I consider myself a brony, but fuck. Its a god damn show. Rabid fans of anything make me laugh and scare me all at once.

Um.. Yeah. They use to have a Facebook page known as "Bronyism" They religiously venerated Celestia and Luna. They even went as far as going on Yahoo Answers to say that the religion is better than christianity and ALL religions. I'm not joking here. They spread this message about how everyone will be accepted in their group as "Friendship is Magic" which predicates on the weak willed and the socially awkward to join their cult just like other known cults do. I wish I could say I was making this up... but I'm not.

The cloppers are making it worse for everyone too really. Masturbating to underaged ponies and whatnot... but every group has that element to it unfortunately.

Oh I agree... I try to avoid them at all costs but not all of us are so lucky. I don't mind people who like the show for what it is... the whole religious devotion to the show and whatnot... -that's- what irks me to no end.
