This is the first time I've sat down to draw something for myself in a long time. The character shown is Arayikeli, an Azeicku shamaness. I hope to have more info about her later.
However, the main reason that I created this scene is to illustrate the landscape of the Azeicku homeworld, Syaloria, which is the moon of the gas giant, Aedai.
The best way to describe most of Syaloria would be to think of a cross between Utapau of the Star Wars universe and Whitefall of the Firefly/Serenity universe. Much of the moon is sprawling grassland dotted with cliffsides and forests, but there also exists huge rock formations and complex underground caves and rivers.
Tools Used: Mechanical Pencil, Paper, Scanner, Photoshop, Paint Tool Sai
Time Taken: 4 hours
Soundtrack: "In Dreams We Belong" - FoxAmoore
