It is within the confines of the lonesome evenings I often look to Digress
For the stirring of my own humanity always await my weakness I must confess
Every single mistake I have made, every wrong move haunts me without an end
To which every portion of my mind and heart is breaking as I watch my very soul bend
And I try and ignore the screams but they won't leave my head
Because every pain, every choice I've made shows the blood I've shed.
Forcing it's way through the crack left within my skull
A mental detainment forever carrying it's burden left in it's hull
Watching the hole in my chest reopen as I have no choice any more
The worst never comes because the guilty will always leave that open door
