An artist must express herself, at all costs... And Mokie expresses herself mainly at Darl's cost.

Fermented glowberries are good too.
"Glowberries are naturally occurring fruit of a vine that grows in many of the lower levels of Fraggle Rock, where there is plenty of dripping water and little light. They glow with a pale green luminescence that can often be bright enough to read by where the vine grows thickly. Glowberries grow all year long and replenish themselves rapidly, making them a favourite treat of many of the Rock’s denizens, including Fraggles. Their taste is somewhat like between seedless green grapes and pop rocks. Too many berried consumed in one sitting invariably cause the inside of the mouth, the tongue and teeth to glow green for up to an hour after the last is eaten. Other glowing side effects are unprintable. Glowberries when pressed make a refreshing, effervescent beverage, which can be intoxicating if allowed to “age” in a sealed container for a week or longer." -- From "The Lesser Book of Fraggle Lore"

Sooner or later, some fraggle is going to get very suspicious over these mysterious disappearances -and that it would be lethal to investigate directly. (S)he could dispatch a certain Cotterpin to hide & spy on this insane sculptor, and see what happens.
The mission would be 4-fold.
(1) Discover what this fraggle turned fiend is up to.
(2) Apprehend her.
(3) Try,convict and PUNISH her.
(4) Try to find a way to reverse this petrification.
I was going to propose a guest star, but that would imply that the fraggles could not deal with this with their own wits and/or resourses.

Ah, but Mokie is fiendishly clever! During her periodic mysterious absenses, she scouts out potential works of art in other Fraggle clans, living in distant caves. The only problem is that she has to o farther and farther for new subjects .. eventually she may find it impractical.
