Planet of Origin: Aerka 6 (Wild) / Earth (Domestic)

Info:
The Wogwog was first brought to planet earth by the Aerkans as a peace offering between the two planets in year 2132.
the original name of the species was Tokalak'mala which translated to "hand chomper" in the alien language.
on the species' home planet, they are often captured and eaten. but many animals on earth thought of them too interesting just for food, and instead decided to do more with them...or at least try to.
Many of the odd creatures proved a bit too difficult to handle.
some were not used to the sudden change in atmosphere and died, others escaped and ran off, while others were just too aggressive to hold.
It took 20 whole years before one man named Gregory Sach (a Hippo) and his family were able to successfully tame the wayward creatures by using basic selective breeding; taking the more gentle and friendly individuals and breeding them together to produce more gentle cubs. through out the generations, not only did they become more friendly but their appearances changed as well.
coming in many colors ranging from Blue (above picture), gold, fawn, black, red, silver and so on.
The English Wogwog of today is a very popular pet, especially among Dogs due to their similar love of exercise and activity.
These creatures are also well loved because of their strong sense of loyalty and willingness to protect their family.
they love children and if raised with them at a young age, can get along well with other pets. but they can be rough when playing so it's best that they be supervised.
because it has mostly leathery-like skin and light patches of fluff, it requires very little grooming. but be sure to bathe it at least once a week if you can. the one downside to these loveable creatures is their strong musky odor.
