As our silly little dragon looks around the house, he meets some ants who had gotten into the pesticides the humans had left out for them. He talks with them for a few minutes and is shocked to find out that these creatures who seemed so wise were actually only a week or so older than himself! And already their lives were nearing an end. This brings him to think about his own life and how easily it could come to an abrupt end. And thus the little ant had given him a precious gift, an appreciation for the little life he had experienced.
