This was another hard model, most likely the hardest yet. This is mainly you can see almost everything behind the blast sheild so everything had to be put together, unlike most tanks that are just a hull and wheels and a turrent. I ran out of the gray I was using for the half track I just posted so it has a different shade, also black washed to keep it from looking too monocolored. The front and back shots didnt come out great though

You stuff looks nice ^.^ I just got back into it cause they didnt make all the types of tanks I like in toy form, so I had to make my one. The first model I did, that wasnt a snap together 15 years ago, was an panzer 1 *which even a model of them are sorta rare* and it was a dragon model too. I had to glue and cut out ever freaking track link >.< I figured if I can do that I can attempt anything :P
When I am doing my models, I like to do things that are exciting and have a lot of detail. Planes that have lots of missiles or rockets and bombs, cars with those big carburetors sticking out of the hood (VROOM VROOM), stuff like that. That said, what would you suggest for a tank?
No idea. I love tanks and read up on em and all that. I like ones that I know about, mainly the "useless" tanks. The really light ones that were either over converted to be of any use or just put out of service. If you like complicated then try something like this, cause you have to do all the inside as well as the out side work. If you like annoyingly over complicated try dragon models. They have more pieces then the tamiya's and you have to glue every freaking track piece together *thats usually about 125 track pieces per track X2 tracks*
If its the stug III E made by tamiya, they are still selling it atta hobby lobby for like 44$ o.O I learned a few tricks in the last 6 models. 1 to paint the model in chunks and not try to do it all at the end. 2 read directions twice and glue once. 3 a flash light helps and you usually need all the pieces. And 4 with a little thinking you can fix almost any mistake with a glue together model :P
Not too bad of a price, but given the complexity of the models they're expensive compared to like the models at Walmart. Mostly due to being an unusual subject matter (tanks are a rare model) and the fact these are model enthusiasts kits, not "let's get my 12 year old a car model" kits.

closest you get to a warhammer fantasy tank is the imperial steam tank... or perhaps the skaven doomwheel
