The lockkeeper's house / La maison de l'éclusier

There's a little canal going through my village. It was dug between 1837 and 1846, but soon it became useless and one of its ends was filled in in the 1960s.
The lockkeeper's house is still standing, abandoned since fifty years or so, probably waiting its demolition. I'm pretty sure there are a lot of bats in it. :D
