Oh man, I love your art, I'm so, so glad I managed to nab this from you. You do a beautiful job of character and setting- I love the body language here on both the characters. Alex seems sick and tired of the layover and the holdover, and Ali's probably hit every bookstore, drank six bottles of soda, looked out all the windows, and read her way through some big novels. She looks so delighted to share... I'm sure it's some horribly dry geology reading. ;) You always do such detailed work on your characters!
Love the atmosphere, the rain, the planes, the sheen on the floor -- oh I spent way too much time this year waiting in airports. I totally get Alex's feelings on the matter.

LOL this is fabulous! :D Alex looks so Srs Bsns -- actually he looks grumpy as hell, judging by how he's glaring down at his wristwatch. XD And Ali looks willing and adorable as always, hehe, aww... <3 I'm loving the businesslike, gloomy grey of the BG, and the detail on Alex's face are hella awesome. Thank you! :D
