Had a freaky-ass nightmare a couple weeks ago about demons, and death, and dying being a both physical and metaphysical thing where you die once, physically, and then your soul gets devoured by Death, who in my dream looked like this and was hanging on a wrought iron gate that blocked off a swirling black an purple glowing portal.

In my dream, I was about the size of his foot, and had just watched him devour a demon that was almost twice his size, and there were a bunch of angels, demons and humans all in line beside a graveyard of fresh, unfilled graves, to be devoured, all either clueless about what was going on, or freaking out about being devoured. The line originated inside a huge prison facility that was depressing, and creepy, and apparently where souls went to wait their turn to be devoured. I flipped out when I saw him eat the huge-o demon though and tried to run. Wound up falling into one of the open graves and freaking out again because there were bones sticking out the side of it into the grave, and then I woke up..... was scarier than it sounds though.... creeped the hell out of me, and so I drew this up. Couldn't stand to look at it without shivering and getting edgy until now. :P
