This was the very first time Chekote had been drawn, and we were working together to try and capture his features. Although I liked how this came out, it was a little too masculine for Chekote. We worked on modifying the look, and by the time the 4th sketch (the one with Chekote's wings wrapped around him) was completed, it was pretty much perfect.
Kei pretty much brought Chekote to life, and her pieces have a special place in my heart as a result.
