This is a (unfortunately overdue) commission for my friend 
featuring his character gorgeous Nora, and a random buggy friend.
I'm definitely not used to doing complex backgrounds, so a lot of the wait was how much of a challenge this was to me. Glad to be done with it but also happy to have ventured out of my box, its been a good learning experience and a sign I need to keep practicing with more involved environments and shading. :3

fffffff <3 You really pushed yourself on this one, and I appreciate that. The lighting turned out wonderfully, as did the rain, especially for someone whom as far as I know has never drawn rainwater. It's really good compositionally, too--Nora's orange hair and the light source moth bring the eyes to the characters immediately, while the darker colors give a unifying theme everywhere else. The necklace really looks like it's reflecting the light! :3
