Wow I think I felt that wave of awkwardness from here~ 8I
This piece is great, though. It's so fun to keep old art and look at it after so many years. The best part is, it's quite far beyond regular kiddy quality, so the issues stand out so much more. xD I think that makes it endearing, though. Those BIG HEADS.
haha I love it.

It gets even worse, because that character belongs to someone who passed away a few years back. I've drawn him all but once after his funeral. of course, no one knows that, so I can't fault them for not knowing who this character is!
I'm trying to hunt down my seriously beginner stuff from when I was 14 or so just so I can show people that, yes, you can get somewhere. It just takes years of drawing over and over and over and over.

Yeah, I saw your edit! Haha it's not really their fault that they assumed, but that makes it worse to me. xD It's just a bad moment for everyone, and I felt the little shockwaves of it just from scrolling past! xD Geez.
Anyway, yeah. I love showing people my old stuff because it shows that it's all practice. My little bro just last night said "you were given a great gift", but if I was given anything it was just the mind to be able to do it in the end. I have all this horrible Yugioh stuff in a book somewhere that -still- makes me cringe. That's the kind of stuff that I like showing people.
