Because the last time I used the Horns pic to reference the ring, the artist somehow didn't get that the entire thing at the base of the horns was a ring. ^^ Hopefully giving it a color highlight will make it more clear. The top/bottom of the ring is supposed to be a um... 'lip' where the ring curls as it were if you've seen the style.
