One of our biggest Fans! (well... its actually small!)
Its a bit hard to see because its all in black, but that's the point! Built into the upper muzzle is a 2.5" fan connected to a battery box with an on/off switch. The fan for this head is designed to exhaust air from the inside of the head helping to keep the wearer from overheating as fast. Fans can be incorporated into BC4C heads for $25 extra.

Hmm. If it would be back far enough to not be noticeable I might try it. I always try to find someplace private to remove my head if I need some water so drinking wouldn't be an issue. You said it exhaust air from the head so I'm guessing it blows out through the muzzle instead of blowing air back towards your face? It seems like air being pulled in through the eyes and around the neck and circulated out the muzzle would be a lot less distracting that the fan blowing directly into your face. Then again on a 100 degree day any airflow would be nice. I know full face motorcycle helmets with better airflow and circulation like that are a lot more comfortable than ones that just have an opening in the chin bar that lets air hit you right in the face.
