Meet Captain Low-chan Mason-Hartoh, Temporal Corps!
The little-named third member of Matt and Tali's troika is Captain Low Mason-Hartoh, Temporal Corps Naval Command. She's not seen much, as she's the CO of the TempCorps space battleship Musashi[1], and as such is out on patrol in space a lot of the time...
Low originally hails from the planet Dragonstar. Any resemblance to another greenhaired alien gal created by Rumiki Takahashi is strictly intentional (they're cousins of some sort or another). ;)
Low's most famous appearance was in TaliVisions #4, in a rather steamy thirteen page sequence drawn by Reed Waller showing a very refreshing and relaxing afternoon in the sauna and Japanese-style bath of TempCorps Depot Three... and if I get a couple dozen orders, maybe I'll reprint the beggar!
[1] A brief note on Temporal Corps vehicles is in order at this point. If, like me, you're a believer in Heinlein's "World As Myth" concept (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pantheistic_solipsism), then you know that, somewhere, anime series such as "Star Blazers (Space Cruiser Yamato)", "Robotech (Macross, etc)" and so forth actually happened. In the Musashi's case, this ship was the Yamato's stunt double. Any scene where the #3 bridge got blown away, for example, it was the Musashi that took the hit. After the series ended, the TempCorps bought the Musashi as scrap, rehabbed her to full capabiilities, added time and dimensional traveling equipment and set her to work patrolling the alternities. Needless to say, Captain Mason-Hartoh loves her position, and the fact that she out-ranks her mates is only icing on the cake... ;)
Art is one of those all-too-rare occasions where Doug Winger produced a pic with neither hypertrophism or a whamadoodle.
