Even for just a photo, the drawing is quite impressive. I rather like the pose you chose and the implied mutlitonal fur. Hopefully we might be able to see a full scan of this sometime. Keep up the great work!

I agree, this totally caught my eye on the front page. The only thing I would look out for is to make sure that all the limbs are proportional...but otherwise the detail on this is fantastic! ;D Good work!

Yea, I noticed after posting it, that his right arm, resting on his thigh, is too thin at the wrist. Fixed it after the fact. This, for a first try with the inking style, and body type, was a very positive experience, and I think I'm much more comfortable taking larger body types as projects ^^

X3 Well, this time, it actually paid off, lip still intact, and drawing actually coming out the way I'd like it to. X3 And even better, the way you seem to like it as well :D

I never dared to color him entirely... his color scheme is black with crimson red highlights and stripe-thingies... His body is covered in hard shell armor... so I always have difficulties to draw his muscles right. =_=; I am such a jerk. :p

As is the really keen pose, I love how he's crouching all badass like. But not threatening, more like he's inspecting the viewer. Your inking is great too, very dynamic! I really love this ;;

Eee ^^ I'm really glad I got his details down ok. I felt craptastic about not coloring it, but GAH, I was so happy with the inking, I wanted to get my scanner hooked up first, THEN color a copy X3. His pose was really deliberate. I didn't want a super cheesecakey pose, but I didn't want him being all evil either ^^; Big guys like this, tend to overwhelm in some poses (which is why I love the way you draw him ^^) I'm so glad you both liked it ^^ WOOHOO!!
