It pierced the night as the stain of ink corrupts the empty page, it's chorus loud and fierce, as if to intimidate the now struggling night sky, this power so terrible spilled into the world carried on the wings of fear and compounded by hatred.
Evil is too light a word, it's existence stings and burns the air, poisoning my very lungs as it draws nearer, I have been ready for this moment longer than even I had realized, for as it reached for the soul of the night I brushed it's Infinite blade away, giving and guarding this quiet eternal song, played against it's sharp chords and undead dance. This night is my home and with my very life shall it be kept, for with my last breath I will assure the stars a home, and the moon it's rightful throne in the endless kingdom of Afterglow.
