Hehe my classmate Lauren wanted to commission me for something but didn't quite know what! So she created this adorable character :3 she's a Giraffe x Lynx, and she has an incredibly long bendy neck. (You should see the giraffe she has in her sketchbook!)

Also her ref sheet really pointed out the long curly tongue and she gave a ref photo of a giraffe wrapping it's tongue around a carrot so I thought it'd be funny if she was freaking out some small bird by saying hello the same way dogs like to :p
