Sometimes you just can't find a little peach and quit, not even on the moon. Just as Saara is chilling out with a good book, H.G. Wells' "First Men in the Moon", a small meterorite interups her relaxation and knocks over her drink. Which had frozen anyway, so wasn't spilled at least... Note the head phones... In the vacuum of space how else would you listen to music?

OMG, Taral, this is probably your oniric pic I love the MOST. It's hard to tell why, but it got everything I'm found of in imaginative pics, the totally impossible situation, yet it loks SO natural, the little event that brings a surprise...
Think I'll display this one as a background pic on my computer.
I like also the fact you displayed Earth the way Australia is the first continent to be seen contrary to all these America-Europa-Asia-centered points of view -and not "horizontally" the way we are accustomed to represent the globe-, yet it's totally possible because the moon is indeed still on the equator axis.
As for for the head phones, the answer is simple : they can transmit sound through the cranium bones like some modern headphones already do that nowadays (only the material contact is required - you can even efficiently transmit sound through the teeth !!!), or there is a device in those headphones that actually emit an air cushion when they are displayed on the ears that can work if the headphones are put hermetically enough ^^

I really should do more of this sort of thing, but once I deeply committed to selling prints and sketchs at cons I got drawn away into generic furries, because they seemed to be what people wanted. The hot cat girls and skunk girls sold while complex scenes with Tangel in Willowrun or Saara somewhere in the solar system seemed to sit there untouched. That's a bit of an exagerration. I always sold a bit of the "classy" stuff. But it was much easier to do the "cheesy" pics that seemed to sell better anyway.
I should probably go back to a lot of these older b/w pieces and colour them in Photoshop.
