I will politely disagree, having gone from stock single piston calipers all around to a 4 piston caliper up front and dual piston caliper in the rear off a '96 300ZX TT, they're MORE than enough. Yes, there are upgrades to be had when choosing what kind and size rotor you can put on, but when you cannot even utilize the entire pad surface area just because you want bigger rotors is not the right way to go about it. Also, for a 300ZX, the curb weight of the varying cars are anywhere between 3,186lbs to 3,602lbs. Where as the 95'98 model 240SX cars were 2,762.4lbs. For a car that weighs roughly 500lbs less? Yeah, these brakes are again, more than enough. Just sayin'.
All too true, and I guess with that reduced curb weight the need to stop isn't as bad as my 3200lb fat ass Z32 haha
Not so much though the bigger rotors, but moving the caliper farther from the center which reduces the force needed to grip the rotor. I went from having to use 20-30% pedal to stop with upgraded OE rotors, pads, fluid, lines... to literally 5% pedal... first day I drove it after mounting everything I locked the wheels down by accident x3
Amount of pad lost on the Z32 caliper with Z33 rotor is minimal, maybe 1mm goes off the side. Honestly the tolerance is so tight for this upgrade I don't know if there was a way to improve that, although Z1 said they'd look into it lol
Then again I didn't even think to ask if you had 4 bolt or 5 bolt hubs.

I already rub with passengers.. but only just. I need to roll the fenders and if I drop it Ill more-then-likely require abusing my inner fender wells in the rear because of how wide the tires are. I loovveee mini-tubs but can't find anyone local willing to do it. Its a posi-rear, forgot the make.. but a terrible 2.73.. which, if I keep the car, will be swapped in the spring for a 3.73 which wont help my lack of traction already.. To say the least, I have many suspension upgrades I want to do to assist with the drop, its just figuring out what shocks to go with. We'll see!
