Finished my first Sea Dragon - underwater/swimable full suit. The suiter of course wears goggles under the head. Working monofin in the tail. (The water was really murky that weekend after a large storm so it was impossiable to get many good underwater shots. -- It also kept me from swimming as much under water since it was so muddy, i couldnt see as much where i was going, but we tried!)

Had a look at the video too.
Very unique idea! Hope it works out for you. Pity the water wasn't really clear, I think it would've made the video better.
I was wondering how you breath in it. I was actually looking to see if there was a snorkel or something on top of the head during the video, but I realize that may not be the case haha.

Nope, no snorkel. You come up to breath like normal. It's a dreamvision creations resin dragon head base. It has no teeth or tounge and just black interfacing for the eyes and nose holes, so I have full vision and very good ventalation. THe moment you come up you can breath, the water drains that fast. Under the head You can wear goggles, and vision is just fine. It does have a working moving jaw as well. So Air really hasn't been an issue. :)
That is... My god im speachles!! I saw on your mask post about opening commissions for aquatic suits, i also saw "vaporeon" and i kinda got my mind blown. Ill be taking monofin lessons soon, also, im a great swimmer. IF your opening for aquatic suit commissions(i know this is late, but i was shown this today), please, let me know!
Hi. Long ago I came across a company on the Internet that sold a professional mascot suit for water parks. It was a crocodile. I've looked for it since and I tried looking for it now, it's gone.
I think it was made of a plastic mesh. The body deliberately fit loosely, but it managed to keep form. It seemed to be a soft plastic. The head was made of the same plastic and a wire frame to keep a crocodile shape. I believe the head was seamlessly attached to the body, it was probably big enough on the inside that the person could get in through zipper in the or the front. There was nothing special about the eyes, it was mesh so the person could see everywhere.
I think the idea was to just allow the person inside to be seen. Just like a puppeteer, people would look at the character and not the performer. Water could readily enter and exit much faster than it would a conventional diving full-suit.
It's something, it seemed like a great idea, but I've never seen it again.
