Lava is whenever the molten rock reaches the surface of the crust and is exposed.... It's magma up UNTIL that point. =)

No, CHARLENE is right. The fire pits are underground, no above the surface. It's like being inside of a volcano. Magma isn't lava until it's OUTSIDE of a volcano.

it looks like it's in a cave to me, not in a volcano. So how could we know whether or not it's lava or magma? D=>
